Sunday School
At our Sunday school we strive to nurture the spiritual growth of our children and bring them into closer personal relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Sunday school for children from beginner to super senior meets between 8:30 am and 10:30 am on all Sundays (except 1st Sunday of a month) while the morning worship service is going on in the church The session starts with general worship that includes prayer singing of choruses and songs followed by a message by one of the teachers. The children then break up into classes Standard-wise. In each class a Bible lesson is taught. The children get to colour pictures or do other activity appropriate to their age group. The Word of God is presented as the authority guide for daily living. The children enjoy the singing, the stories and the classes. The individual classes present an opportunity for the children to interact informally with the teacher in a learning and sharing environment. During class the children are encouraged to ask questions, make prayer requests and share.

The Christmas Service Nativity Play is conducted every year. A lot of preparation and practice go into the Christmas program which is followed by the annual Christmas party. Children are also encouraged and helped in preparing for inter-church competitions like quizzes and Bible examinations where they have won several prizes.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) during the summer vacation has been conducted during the last few years with great success.

Choir
The Christ Church has a rich tradition of worship and Prayer. Music plays a very significant role in worship in the Christ Church. Worship in the Christ Church is enriched by the sounds of the organ. The music of the organ seems to comfort the depth of the worshipper’s life. Thereby the vibrant sound of the organ draws people from all parts of Ambattur to worship in the Christ Church and to join in songs of joyful praise. The Christ Church has a 15 member choir under the leadership of Mr. Peter Collison. The Choir serves God devotedly in every worship service. Their Choral singing enriches the worship and prayer at the Christ Church. The Christ Church Choir would also offer seasonal Sacred Music especially during the season of Lent and Advent.

Youth Fellowship
The young people of the Christ Church bring in a lot of new energy, creativity and enthusiasm to the life of the Christ Church. The Youth Fellowship of the Christ Church meets every week for prayer, discussion and fellowship. The Christ Church youth take active part in the life of the church. They are committed to mission and besides meeting together for prayer and fellowship the Young people periodically visit some of the young children from the villages.

Womens Fellowship
The Womens’ fellowship of Christ Church meets every Friday at 10.00 AM.
As per the talents and initiatives of our Pastor’s wife, and other ladies of the fellowship our programmes are attractive and the members enjoy spending one hour every week in the company of those who faithfully gather.

Mens Fellowship
The Men’s Fellowship meets every week in the Church. On an average about 8 to 10 members assemble regularly and spend an hour or more in singing Praises and Praying for various needs of the Church and the members.

Prayer Fellowship
The Prayer fellowship meets every Saturday in the Church. The Pastor leads the Prayer Fellowship every week with Bible Study and discussions.
